I think it’s safe to say, we’ve all heard of Joe Rogan. For those of you who need a little refresher, he is an American Actor, Comedian who started his career in 1988. Some of his famous TV roles include Fear Factor (he hosted the show), Hardball and his most recent, MeatEater. He also has a pretty famous podcast called ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’.
It was on his podcast in fact, that he revealed his nervousness when it comes to Bitcoin. He claims that surveillance, especially in the US, is so prominent that the cryptocurrency does make him a bit skittish. He was speaking with an ex-CIA member and they were discussing the massive data breach by the National Security Agency which collects everyone’s personal information. And yes, this includes phone calls and texts. Pause for reaction.
Rogan also finds new technological trends worrisome included Google Hubs (Nests), Smart TV’s etc. The point is, he is a simpler not a believer in Bitcoin and he does not invest in the cryptocurrency.
